In the first incident, S. Nagarjuna Kumar of Hyderabad, who was travelling with his family from Ongole to Secunderabad on Train No. 12709 Simhapuri Express, accidentally left a ladies’ handbag inside the coach after getting down at Secunderabad railway station. After receiving information, personnel from the RPF Secunderabad and the CPT (work permit during studies) team traced the bag. It contained 172 grams of gold ornaments, ₹45,000 in cash, two mobile phones and a wristwatch, with the total value estimated at ₹27.05 lakh. The belongings were returned to the passenger after verification. In the other incident, the RPF acted on a Rail Madad complaint filed by K.
