Kamaraj between July 13 and 19, focussing on his “clean, corruption-free administration” and his simple lifestyle, TNCC leader S. After participating at the party’s State executive council meeting in Chennai, he said the Congress would organise a public rally on July 15 in Gudiyatham where Kamaraj contested in the election first and became an MLA. “TNCC president Manickam Tagore will raise the slogan, ‘Reject bribes, hold your head high’, standing in front of Kamarajar’s house at Virudhunagar on the morning of July 15. The Congress will also organise a public rally in Madurai on July 19,” he said.
